    Parts Counter - Material Handling $2000 Sign-on Bonus

There is nothing in our inventory as valuable as the associates who carry our reputation into the marketplace.

    Essential Job Functions

    Process phone and walk-in parts orders by:

    • Correctly determining customer's needs
    • Investigating parts requirements
    • Inputting orders into the computer
    • Pulling parts from the warehouse for customers waiting at the counter
    • Placing backorders with vendors
    • Making proper and complete purchase orders

    Fulfilling the below warehouse duties when required:

    • Put away stock orders
    • Pull parts orders for the service department
    • Complete cycle inventory counts
    • Assisting Parts manager when needed

    Non-essential Job Functions

    • Cleaning workstation and warehouse
    • Preparing for Parts Inventory
    • Cycle counts
    • Clerical work such as filing, answering phones, and so on

    Job Requirements:

    • Ability to operate a forklift or to complete a forklift certification training
    • Must be able to drive a company vehicle
    • Computer literate with some working knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word
    • First-rate communication skills
    • Maintain a clean and efficient workstation
    • Stay current with product knowledge, such as new products and product improvements
    • Communication with management and co-workers on work-related ideas and questions

    Physical Demands:

    • Walking and moving about on foot often through uneven terrain.
    • Ability to grasp and work with hands.
    • Raises or lowers miscellaneous equipment parts.
    • Extends hands and arms in any direction.
    • Bends body downward and forward by bending at knees or waist.
    • Remains in a standing position if required to perform various functions of the job.
    • In and out of equipment. Up and down ladders.
    • Read work tickets, parts book, and computer screen.
    • Communication by radio, phone, and in person.
    • Sits at the workstation, for long periods.

    Physical Strength:

    • Lifts to 60lbs. daily; regular exertion.

    Environmental Conditions:

    • The candidate works in conditions with constant or irregular noise and in a temperature-controlled office or warehouse that has temperature variations. There are foul odors, fumes, and harsh substances.
