Parts Counter Sales Job Responsibilities
Assist retail and wholesale customers at the parts counter and over the phone
Support service technicians by accurately identifying and supplying needed parts
Utilize electronic parts catalogs to source OEM components
Process parts orders, special orders, returns, and warranty claims
Maintain accurate inventory records and stock organization
Communicate effectively with service advisors and technicians to ensure timely workflow
Keep the parts department clean, organized, and efficient
Be open to cross-training in additional areas of the department, including exposure to body shop and collision parts operations to support overall team success
Parts Counter Sales Benefits and Compensation
Pay Range: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 annually

Parts Counter Sales Qualifications
Previous automotive parts experience preferred (dealership experience a plus)
Familiarity with OEM parts lookup systems and electronic catalogs
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn dealership software systems
Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods
Willingness to learn and cross-train in additional areas of the department, including body shop and collision parts operations
Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
