Join our dynamic automotive team as a Service & Parts Porter, where your contributions will directly support our service department's efficiency and customer satisfaction.  In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the organization and management of parts and service areas, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and that our customers receive prompt and professional service.  You will assist technicians and service advisors by facilitating the flow of parts and vehicle movements, helping maintain an organized and clean environment.  As the first point of contact for various operational needs, you'll enhance our service delivery by ensuring that all parts and vehicles are properly located and prepared for service.  Your attention to detail and proactive approach will be key in maintaining our commitment to excellence.  We are looking for dedicated individuals with a passion for the automotive industry and a strong desire to grow within our team.  If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with a diverse team of professionals, this could be the perfect opportunity for you to kickstart your career in the automotive world.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the organization and maintenance of service and parts areas.
  • Transport vehicles to and from service bays and parking areas.
  • Deliver parts to customers and wholesale clients.
  • Inventory and restock parts as needed, ensuring accurate counts and organization.
  • Assist technicians with retrieving and delivering parts for repairs and services.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the service facility and surrounding areas.
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and technicians regarding part requirements.
  • Perform basic administrative tasks related to parts inventory management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience in an automotive service environment is a must.
  • Previous Highline experience is a plus. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
  • A genuine interest in the automotive industry and a willingness to learn.
