Parts Counterperson – Porsche New Orleans

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians and retail customers in identifying and purchasing the correct automotive parts and accessories.
• Accurately process parts requests, invoices, and special orders.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by receiving, stocking, and organizing parts.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs.
• Work closely with the Service Department to ensure technicians receive parts in a timely manner.
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to parts inquiries professionally.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe parts department.
• Follow dealership policies and manufacturer guidelines.
• Assist with inventory counts and other departmental projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive parts experience is preferred; dealership experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle systems.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency; dealership management system experience (CDK experience is a plus).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
