Our client is seeking a Parts Counterperson to support walk‑in and phone customers by identifying, sourcing, and supplying the correct parts quickly and accurately. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys problem‑solving, and has hands‑on experience with automotive, truck, agriculture, or equipment parts operations.

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00AM–5:30PM
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a service‑first approach and build strong customer relationships.
- Manage a high volume of customer requests while maintaining accuracy and service quality.
- Assist walk‑in and phone customers with parts identification, availability checks, and pricing.
- Provide parts from inventory or create and track special orders when items are not in stock.
- Communicate delays, alternatives, and order status updates with urgency and professionalism.
- Support inventory tasks including stocking, receiving, organizing, and general parts‑department upkeep.
- Document parts lookups, orders, and communications using the parts system and basic MS Office tools.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- At least 18 years old and able to work onsite daily.
- Stable work history with consistent tenure in parts/service roles.
- Experience using computerized parts systems and basic MS Office applications.
- All education levels considered; equivalent practical experience is fully acceptable.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously.
- 3+ years of parts or service experience in automotive, truck, agriculture, or equipment environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with truck or heavy‑duty parts operations.
- Trade‑school training in Parts Operations or Transportation Technology.
