About This Role
A leading automotive manufacturer is hiring a Parts Crib Administrator to support Stamping and die build operations in Georgetown, KY (100% onsite). You will coordinate parts ordering, receiving, shipping, inventory control, and vendor communication so that parts are accurately identified, documented, stored, and delivered to support production schedules and timely die build completion. This is a mid or early-career role (roughly 2 to 10 years of related experience, not senior-level); a Stamping background is preferred, and Tool and Die or die build experience is also accepted.
Responsibilities
Support die build and parts crib operations: coordinate parts ordering, receiving, shipping, inventory control, and vendor communication
Verify crib inventory before ordering and support parts quoting activities
Gather costing, lead-time, and comparison data to support ordering and vendor selection
Use a Manufacturing Execution System (ProLeiS MES or similar), SAP Ariba, and Microsoft 365 to process orders, receive parts, and track activity
Review Catia, XVL, and design PDFs to verify changes and identify issues
Receive parts by matching packing slips to quoted parts lists, die numbers, quantities, and descriptions
Prepare, organize, and route parts carts, shipping materials, paperwork, and labels; maintain paper records, parts trees, and partial-order documentation
Unload trucks, crates, fixtures, and parts using forklifts and mobile ramps; maintain 5S workplace organization of the crib area
Coordinate with vendors and internal partners to resolve damaged, missing, incorrect, expedited, or modified parts

Qualifications
2 to 10 years of related experience (parts crib operations, inventory control, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing support); mid or early career, not senior-level
Stamping background preferred; Tool and Die, die build, or tooling / manufacturing support experience also accepted
3 plus years collaborating with vendors and/or suppliers
Ability to read parts lists, packing slips, die numbers, and basic technical documentation
Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills; basic computer skills and ability to learn manufacturing systems quickly
Physical: able to lift over 35 lbs, unload trucks/crates/pallets, and operate forklifts, easy-go vehicles, banders, and material-handling equipment; valid driver’s license (mandatory)
Willingness to work overtime as needed and travel up to 10%
Preferred: Manufacturing Execution Systems (ProLeiS MES or similar); SAP Ariba; Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word); reviewing CAD/Catia models, XVL, and technical drawings; vendor quoting, inventory control, and parts logistics
