Bowser Automotive | Monroeville, PA
Bowser Automotive is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Parts Driver to join our Wholesale Parts Department. This position is responsible for delivering and picking up automotive parts and equipment along an established route Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will enjoy working independently, building relationships with customers, and providing outstanding service while representing the Bowser brand.
Responsibilities
Deliver parts and equipment to customers, vendors, and satellite locations in a timely and professional manner
Pick up parts, returns, and equipment as directed by the Parts Supervisor and Parts Counter staff
Load delivery vehicle at the beginning of each shift and unload at the end of the day
Obtain customer signatures and maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
Submit completed paperwork and return any undelivered parts
Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle in accordance with departmental guidelines
Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers along the delivery route
Communicate delivery issues, discrepancies, or customer concerns to management
Maintain all required driving credentials and comply with DOT regulations
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to exercise good judgment and professionalism
Prior delivery or automotive experience is a plus, but not required
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop throughout the workday
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to enter and exit delivery vehicles frequently throughout the shift
