Parts Driver

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver parts (often automotive or mechanical) to customers, shops, or job sites
• Pick up parts from suppliers or other locations
• Verify orders before delivery (correct items, quantities)
• Load and unload items safely
• Maintain delivery schedules and routes
• Collect payments or obtain delivery signatures when required
• Communicate with dispatchers, warehouse staff, or customers
• Keep records of deliveries and receipts

Daily Tasks

• Check delivery orders at the start of the shift
• Plan or follow assigned routes
• Inspect vehicle (fuel, tires, basic safety)
• Drive to multiple stops throughout the day
• Handle paperwork or digital logs

Required Skills

• Good driving record and valid driver’s license
• Time management and reliability
• Basic organization skills
• Customer service skills (you’ll interact with clients often)
• Ability to lift and carry parts (sometimes 20–50 lbs or more)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of automotive parts 
• Experience with delivery driving or warehouse work
• Familiarity with GPS/navigation apps

Work Environment

• Mostly on the road driving
• Some warehouse time (loading/unloading)
