Job Description

Parts Driver Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the parts manager, wholesale representative, inventory control administrator, and shipping/receiving staff to schedule pick-ups and deliveries.
• Check with the body shop daily to determine parts needs and deliver parts to appropriate technicians.
• Verify invoices match purchase orders and confirm payments for each delivery; maintain accurate daily delivery and pick-up logs with recipient signatures.
• Unload truck each night, turn in all paperwork, and manage undelivered parts.
• Perform basic truck maintenance including fueling, oil checks, cleaning, and required inspections; report major repair needs to the parts manager.
• Assist with stocking and posting incoming orders to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts.
• Support the service department with customer vehicle drop-off and pick-up responsibilities as needed.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to all company safety policies; immediately report any accidents to management.
