Responsibilities

Pickup and Deliver parts and equipment to customers and vendors.  Each day's trip will be coordinated with the Parts Manager, parts salespeople, or shipping and receiving clerk.

Complete a log at the time of delivery and request the recipient's signature.

Unload the truck each night and turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts.

Wash outside of truck weekly and be responsible for the upkeep of the vehicles:  checking oil with each fill-up, ensure the vehicle is serviced on regular intervals.

Help maintain the professional appearance of the Parts Department.

Operate the fork lift as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle multiple tasks, read and comprehend instructions and detail oriented.

• This is a physically demanding position.  You will drive company provided vehicles eight hours per shift.  You will lift and transport parts weighing up to 70 pounds several times a day.  You will be exposed to noise, dust, exhaust fumes and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials.    You will be required to wear a dealership-provided uniform at all times.

• VALID DRIVERS LICENSE AND GOOD DRIVING RECORD REQUIRED

• Good social and interpersonal skills - you are visiting our customers.

• Ability to use a computer - training provided for our operating systems.

• Professional personal appearance - you are the face of Tim Lally Chevrolet.
