Parts Fabricator

Groomer’s Best is looking for a dependable and motivated Parts Fabricator to join our growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will help produce custom stainless-steel products used by veterinarians, pet groomers, distributors, and outdoor customers across the country.

This is a great opportunity for someone with fabrication experience or a mechanically inclined individual who wants to learn and grow in a skilled trade environment. What You’ll Do

As a Parts Fabricator, you will support production by preparing and fabricating stainless-steel parts used in custom products and equipment. Daily responsibilities may include:

• Operating fabrication equipment such as press brakes, sanders, saws, grinders, and welding equipment
• Cutting, sanding, grinding, and preparing stainless-steel materials for assembly
• Bending and forming parts using brake press equipment
• Reading work instructions and following production specifications accurately
• Assisting with welding and fabrication tasks as needed
• Inspecting parts for quality and accuracy before moving to assembly
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Working closely with team members to meet daily production goals
• Following all shop safety procedures and quality standards

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Previous fabrication, manufacturing, or metalworking experience preferred
• Experience operating fabrication tools or machinery such as:
  • Brake Press
  • Sanders
  • Cold Saw
  • Welders
  • Iron Worker Machines
  • Grinders
• Basic welding experience is helpful but not required
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment and processes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude

Schedule Options

We offer flexible scheduling options to support work-life balance:

• Monday through Thursday | 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM (4-day work week)
  OR
• Monday through Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with occasional early short-day options

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position works primarily in a manufacturing and fabrication environment with exposure to machinery, metal materials, dust, noise, and varying temperatures.

Candidates must be able to:

• Stand and move throughout the shift
• Frequently bend, lift, and carry materials
• Safely operate shop equipment and tools
• Lift and move materials as needed
