We are looking for strong, energetic, people-focused team members who will help us redefine the car-buying experience.The Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing the parts department and employees. It is also the Parts Managers responsibility to return a satisfactory profit on dealer capital invested in parts inventory.
Prepare and administer an annual operating budget for the parts department based on Retail, Wholesale and Customer-Pay (Repair Order) salesMaintain a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the service department, body shop, wholesale accounts and the do-it-yourself publicEstablish pricing parameters in each customer category that generates sufficient gross profit to produce a satisfactory profit, while maintaining customer loyaltyEstablish individual parts inventory levels and balances them for maximum turnoverMonitor and adjust Days' Supply for critical and fast-moving parts' categories and numbersMonitor and adjust inventory to minimize obsolescenceMaintain Inventory Aging guidelinesDirect shipping and receiving efforts to ensure timely processingManage the parts inventory and track expensesWork with the service manager and shop foreman to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobsContinue to maintain Asbury's value, quality, and integrityStrong customer service skills are a mustAttention to detail and strong organizational skills requiredExperience with CDK or Reynolds is a plusMust have a minimum of 3 years' experience as an Automotive Parts EmployeePrevious Automotive Parts Management experience requiredMust be able to manage in a fast paced work environmentMust be a minimum of eighteen years of ageMust be able to pass pre-employment screens (background & drug test)
