Job Description
Peterson Trucks has the immediate need for an experienced Parts Manager based at our San Leandro, CA location.
This position sets the complete direction for the Petersons Parts Department, which includes, but is not limited to, managing and supervising all areas of the Parts Department; promote profitability at the PADE level and control expenses. This position is responsible for ensuring adequate parts inventory maintenance and replenishment and establishing sales and gross profit goals for the sales team. Works closely with the Service, Sales, and Credit departments. Coordinates and cooperates with other departments and branches across the company, and interfaces with employees, customers, vendors, and Caterpillar representatives.

This position serves in the capacity of the Parts Manager to provide direction and leadership to direct reports and fulfill company needs through this job function. General discretion and judgment are exercised routinely in the execution of job duties. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree from a fully accredited college in Business or other closely related field; and a minimum of five years of directly related experience, preferably in a heavy industrial environment; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess a valid motor vehicle operators license, with a clean driving record and have access to reliable transportation.
The annual pay range for this position is: $113,000-$140,000. We also offer a total compensation package in addition to base salary.
