    SUMMARY

    Volkswagen of Stamford  is seeking an experienced automotive Parts Manager to join and lead our Parts team.  This is a management level role so we are looking for someone with at least 2 years of automotive Parts Manager experience. This person must be a team player and have the dealership’s best interest in mind.

    RESPONSIBILITES

    • Ensurethatallemployeesfollowtheirassignedworkschedulesandadheretotheabsenteeism, reportingandtardinesspolicy.
    • Forecastsgoalsandobjectivesforthedepartmentandstrivestomeetthem.
    • Hires, trains, motivate, counselsandmonitorstheperformanceofallpartsdepartmentstaff.
    • Meetandassistthecustomerinacourteousandprofessionalmannerprovidingthemwiththeinformationtheyneed.
    • Supervisesstockorderprocedures.
    • Ensurethatincominginventoryisstockedinthecorrectlocation.
    • Maintainabalancedinventoryconsistentwiththerequirementsofthedefinedareas.
    • Accuratelypricepartsandaccessoriesusingtheproperpricingsourceandkeepthecomputersystemuptodate.
    • Enforcesafetyrequirements.
    • DemonstratesbehaviorsconsistentwiththeCompany’sValuesinallinteractionswithcustomers, co-workersandvendors.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Twoormoreyear’srelatedexperienceinanautomotivepartsmanagementpositionpreferred.
    • Twoormoreyearsofsalesexperiencepreferred.
    • Excellentcustomerserviceskills.
    • Professionalappearanceandworkethic.
    • Abilitytoworkwellinaprocessdrivenenvironment.
    • Highschooldiplomaorequivalent.
