PARTS MOVER/INVENTORY SPECIALIST – Tarpon SpringsDo you enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing/warehouse environment? Our client is seeking a dedicated and motivated Parts Mover to join their production/manufacturing team in Tarpon Springs. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop key skills in inventory management, parts distribution, and manufacturing support. Summary
As an Inventory/Parts Specialist, you will assist with a wide range of tasks within the parts and inventory department. Working closely with the Inventory Manager, you will help ensure smooth operations in parts movement, quality control, and parts distribution for all manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities:

• Become familiar with the processes and functions of a parts mover for the parts and inventory department.
• Assist broadly in quality control aspects of  client’ s manufacturing process.
• Support the distribution and inventory of parts and components for all machines.
• Pick up parts and components from the receiving department, paint room, machine shop, and other areas, using a wheeled parts truck as directed by the Inventory Supervisor.
• Label and organize “ job trucks” to a specific job number. Ensure all parts and components are scanned and inventoried per job.
• The foregoing descriptions are intended to set forth the major duties but do not include all areas of work; the employee may be assigned other duties or incidental jobs as needed.

 Requirements:

• Able to read drawings and blueprints.
• Computer literate.
• Knowledge and understanding of tape measure use.
• Knowledge of barcode scanner operation.
• Ability to read and understand English.
• Ability to perform tasks with high attention to detail.
• Squat repeatedly for 10-15 minutes at a time.
• Bend at the knees and waist.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Hold up to 30 pounds for 3-5 minutes at a time.
• Push wheeled parts trucks carrying up to 200-300 pounds.
• Work in hot room environments (80° F– 90° F) for up to 4 hours at a time.
