Santa Cruz Appliance is seeking a proactive Parts Department Lead to streamline our repair operations. In this role, you’ll pre-diagnose appliance repairs, order parts accurately ahead of service calls, maintain inventory, process returns, and collaborate with technicians to ensure first-call completions. You’ll also track frequent part failures and help us continuously improve. We value your ability to multitask and problem-solve on the fly! You will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock.
 
Responsibilities:

• Plan and organize materials and items in the warehouse, including inventory tasks
• Handle and execute shipping operations
• Maintain, clean and repair assets for use in the warehouse and field
• Manage equipment, product, and supplies
• Maintains high activity/productivity level
• Ability to use schematics and blown up diagrams to identify part #s
• Using primary problem and secondary problem diagnosing to identify parts #s

 
Qualifications:

• Be capable of lifting 50 pounds.
• Work on their feet for a minimum of 8 hours a day.
• Be a fast worker, capable of keeping organized.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
