What You'll Do as a Parts Room Associate:- Receive, record, and stock incoming parts and supplies from various delivery services
- Issue parts, tools, and equipment to employees across departments
- Maintain accurate inventory records and periodically conduct inventory counts
- Use Maximo software to manage parts room activity and document transactions
- Drive company vehicle to retrieve or deliver parts (requires valid driver’s license)
- Complete and forward necessary paperwork to the purchasing team
- Distribute receiving documents to the purchasing supervisor
- Assist with general housekeeping duties and keep the work area clean
- Perform additional duties as assigned
What You Need to Bring to the Parts Room Associate:- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and completion of mandated vehicle safety training
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 100 lbs. occasionally
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, stooping, and climbing throughout the shift
- Availability to work rotating shifts, including occasional 12-hour shifts and on-call status
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, safety rules, and procedures
- Basic math skills and accurate inventory tracking ability
- Successful completion of Bennett mechanical testing
- Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions (heat, cold, humidity, noise)
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and vendors
