The Parts Room Coordinator plays a critical role within the Maintenance Department by supporting equipment reliability and plant operations through effective maintenance purchasing and spare parts inventory management.
Responsible for managing maintenance inventory, stock room organization, CMMS activities, purchasing support, and spare parts coordination to support reliable plant operations. Ensures accurate inventory levels, proper identification and storage of maintenance parts, timely procurement of materials, and effective organization of maintenance resources. Supports equipment reliability initiatives by improving parts availability, reducing downtime associated with parts shortages, maintaining accurate inventory records, and promoting efficient maintenance processes while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Qualifications
Education
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or technical training in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Control, Maintenance Technology, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred.
Experience
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in inventory control, stock room management, maintenance support, purchasing, manufacturing, or related experience preferred.
• Experience managing spare parts inventory, cycle counting, or warehouse operations preferred.
• Experience working with CMMS systems, inventory management systems, ERP systems, or purchasing systems preferred.
• Experience working in food manufacturing, dairy processing, or regulated industrial environments preferred.
Skills
• Strong knowledge of inventory control practices, stock room organization, and material management processes.
• Ability to identify parts, verify specifications, and support maintenance purchasing activities.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping.
• Ability to research information, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications and inventory management systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Maintenance, Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, and external suppliers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Working Conditions (Physical Demands)
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally move heavier materials with assistance.
• Ability to unload deliveries, move inventory, and stock materials throughout the facility.
• Ability to work in manufacturing, warehouse, maintenance, and stock room environments.
• Exposure to industrial equipment, noise, dust, moisture, refrigerated areas, and varying temperatures.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment as required and trained.
• Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and comply with all safety requirements.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime, weekends, holidays, and emergency support as operational needs require.
Pay:
$20.00-$27.00/hour*
