PARTS RUNNER

Job Summary:
HQ Aero is currently recruiting for PARTS RUNNERS in BRIDGEPORT, WV

Responsibilities:
As a Parts Runner, you will be required to:

• Assist Stores Departments by receiving and expediting parts, and tooling.
• Delivers parts to technicians.
• Ensures that areas of the parts department are properly stocked.
• Assists the service department by moving parts as needed.
• Picks up and/or delivers parts to designated accounts when instructed by the parts or service departments.
• Ensures the cleanliness of the parts department by disposing of used boxes and trash, sweeping floors and dusting parts bins daily.
• Crates all cores for shipment back to the manufacturer when part has been replaced.
• Other tasks as assigned.
• Adhere to general work rules and company policies and procedures applicable to work area and job functions.

• Candidate must be dependable and be able to follow instructions.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language in accordance with Title 14 CFR Part 65.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.

• Full-time, Contract
• Shift Hours: FHD – Sun-Tue Every other Wed 6:00 AM-6:30 PM, FHN – Sun-Tue Every other Sat 6:00 PM-6:30 AM , BHD – Thu-Sat Every other Wed 6:00AM- 6:30PM, BHN – Wed-Fri Every other Sat 6:00 PM-6:30 AM
• Candidate must be willing to work either shift. Overtime is available.

• Must be able to work as a part of a team in a high-stress, fast-paced environment. 
• Must be a self-starter, able to work with little to no guidance. Must be a highly motivated, detail-oriented, organized, with the ability to multi-task. 
• Must be computer proficient.
• Physical Demands: The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, Position requires frequent walking, standing and/or climbing.
• Work Environment :  FAR Part 145 aircraft maintenance in a hangar and ramp environment.
