Parts Shipping & Receiving Clerk - Mercedes Benz

The Rallye Motor Company, Long Island's premier luxury automotive group, is seeking a Parts Shipping & Receiving Clerk with Rallye Mercedes! The ideal candidate is looking for a long-term position where they can utilize their automotive parts skills and knowledge to engage with a luxury client base, and be a part of an outstanding team!

Responsibilities for this position include:

• Track incoming and outgoing shipments, and verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders and other records.
• Determine shipment methods.
• Prepare shipments, including: affix shipping labels, assemble packaging containers, pack parts into containers using spacers, fillers & protective padding, affix shipping instructions, charges, and postage.
• Receive incoming shipments, including: unpack & examine shipment contents, reject damaged items, record shortages, place parts into stock or customer bins quickly and accurately.
• Receive unsold parts returned by parts driver.
• Notify other departments in the dealership(s) when their parts arrive.

PAY: $20 - $23 PER HOUR

Requirements

• Clean and valid driver's license.
• Previous automotive parts experience and/or knowledge preferred.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and organization skills.
• Outgoing and patient personality with outstanding customer relations ability.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word programs.
• Professional personal appearance.
• Must be able to lift 70 pounds.
