We are currently seeking a Parts Specialist to join our team in the Cincinnati office of the Rental Division that is responsible for the health of Messer's owned equipment. 

What Will You Do: 

• Drive Zero Injury culture
• Manages the entire parts inventory, including sourcing, purchasing and stocking of parts to support Messer's owned equipment fleet 
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of quality parts at competitive prices
• Coordinate with service technicians to meet operational needs
• Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels and reduce excess or obsolete parts
• Negotiate pricing and develop sourcing agreements with suppliers to maximize cost efficiency and availability 
• Issue purchase orders and approve corresponding invoices 
• Develop and institute inventory metrics
• Manage small tool repairs and warranty 
• Manage bulk systems - water barriers, temporary fencing, cones and rails 

What You Will Bring: 

• Bachelors degree preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in procurement and inventory management construction, rental equipment distributor, or related field
• Knowledge of construction equipment, supplies and materials preferred
