Parts Specialist

Primary Purpose: Provide support to the sales and production teams by ordering, delivering, and receiving parts. Track and order inventory and shop supplies as needed.Partnering with Vendors to secure high-quality supplies at the best possible prices. This includes negotiation with vendors and shopping multiple vendors for the best price. This also includes tracking in house inventory and tracking what supplies are used in the highest volume and determining necessary inventory.Hours:Full Time (40hrs/week)8:30am-5:30pm Monday thru FridayPay:$18-$24 per hourBenefits:Competitive benefits package includes health insurance, PTO, 6 paid holidays, 401(k) match, dental, vision, life insurance, and short and long term disability.Qualifications:Education/Certification:High school diploma or equivalentSpecial Knowledge/Skills:Able to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance.Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate with fellow employees.Organizational Skills: Must be able to work and complete work tasks in a timely fashion in an environment that has constant distractions and interruptions.Computer Knowledge: Must possess a working knowledge of how to use a Windows computer.Some automotive knowledge or experience helpful, but not required.Major Responsibilities and Duties:Order parts in a timely fashion from various vendors.Negotiating pricing with vendors and shopping multiple vendors for best price and availability.Maintains a clean and safe work environment.Exercises dependability and punctuality in the performance of assigned duties.Performs any other duties as assigned by the appropriate supervisor.Demonstrates ability to attend work on a routine basis to avoid disruption.Track and stock shop inventory and supplies.Perform a variety of administrative duties as needed.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timeBenefits: 401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programVision insurance Schedule: Day shiftMonday to Friday Ability to Commute: Columbus, OH 43229 (Required) Work Location: In person
