Parts Warehouse Associate

Bayside Kia in Waldorf, MD is looking for a Parts Warehouse Associate to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Process all parts invoices and packing slips, verifying that prices and quantities are correct and clearly indicated, and forward them to the accounting department in a timely manner.
• Track all incoming and outgoing parts.
• Check in parts orders from manufacturers' overnight deliveries.
• Handle shipping and receiving for manufacturer, UPS, and FedEx deliveries, and determine each package's final destination.
• Package and ship parts back to the manufacturer as needed, and complete the appropriate recordkeeping.
• Occasionally deliver parts to local businesses.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least one year of warehouse and stocking experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A working knowledge of computers, including but not limited to internet research, Excel, Word, and parts catalog software.
• An open-minded individual who knows how to improvise when needed.
• A results-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment can be loud at times.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, sit, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
