Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, processing, organizing, and shipping parts and equipment while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, pick, pack, audit, and ship customer orders
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments
- Verify orders and inventory for accuracy
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and yard
- Follow warehouse procedures and quality standards
- Assist with general warehouse operations as needed
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, grasping, bending, and lifting
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with or without reasonable accommodation
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two or more years of warehouse or distribution center experience
- At least six months of experience operating forklifts or other material-handling equipment
Physical Requirements
- Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
- Occasionally sit, climb, or balance
- Regularly use hands and arms to handle materials and equipment
- Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift over 100 pounds with assistance or proper equipment
- Ability to meet vision requirements, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
