PAS Clinician PT Eves

Job Summary

The PAS Clinician is responsible for the emergency clinical assessment of patients, conveying clinical findings and initial recommendations to PAS Doctor. Works in collaboration with PAS Doctor in defining options for appropriate level of care.

Duties & Responsibilities

Adheres to Butler Hospital Service Standards

Completes appropriate documentation in a timely fashion.

Performs utilization review functions according to procedure and adheres to all timeframes.

Coordinates in facilitating an optimal disposition plan for patients demonstrating knowledge of general and age specific resources including availability, eligibility, cost factors and types of service.

Demonstrates commitment to professional career growth and maintains core age specific and specialty competency for all patient populations.

Observes relevant hospital and department policies and procedures including risk management, infection control and safety.

Requirements

Education: LMHC or LICSW strongly preferred, MSW or Master s Degree in Counseling required. LCSW to be obtained within 6 months LICSW to be completed within two years. LICSW required to work in ambulatory assessment services with hospital privileging.

Training and Experience: Knowledge and/or previous experience working within Rhode Island mental health system or substance abuse system

Schedule: 20/40 Part Time Evenings
