We are seeking a reliable and motivated Pastry Cook to join a growing retail and wholesale artisan bakery. The bakery produces naturally leavened hearth breads, pan breads, rolls, viennoiserie, cookies, quiche, muffins, desserts, and more.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about baking, enjoys working with a close-knit team, and wants to continue developing their skills. Previous bakery or pastry experience is preferred, but hands-on training will be provided to the right candidate.

Schedule & Compensation

• Five shifts per week
• Primary shifts: 4:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, is required
• $17–$18 per hour, based on experience
• Weekly cash tips in addition to base pay

Responsibilities

• Morning baking
• Croissant and viennoiserie production
• Stocking and maintaining the pastry showcase
• Quiche production
• Preparing fillings, cookies, muffin batters, desserts, and other bakery items
• Accurately weighing and measuring ingredients
• Following recipes and production schedules
• Working efficiently within established production timelines
• Communicating with bakers and management to ensure production needs are met
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace
• Completing all required cleaning checklists

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in artisan baking and pastry production
• Dependable, responsible, and self-motivated
• Able to follow recipes, instructions, and production schedules
• Strong time-management and communication skills
• Comfortable working as part of a team
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Weekend and holiday availability
• Previous bakery or pastry experience preferred, but not required
