Pastry Cook

Welcome to George & Gather! We are a gourmet all-day hangout in Chandler opening in February 2025, dedicated to serving from-scratch fare made with clean, organic ingredients! Join our team and be part of a dynamic culinary experience that's both nourishing and enjoyable.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake a variety of desserts and pastries
• Supervise morning operations through breakfast service
• Working "baker's" hours, approximately 3am-11am
• Operate kitchen equipment required for position
• Prepare foods/pastries according to recipe guidelines and standards
• Collaborate with a talented team of culinary professionals

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years relevant/supervisory experience
• Ability to work under pressure with focus on timeliness
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Follow all company safety and policy procedures
• Great communication skills
• Attention to detail and quality control
• High School Diploma or equivalent
