Responsibilities
WHAT YOU'LL DO AS A CANYON RANCH COLLEAGUE:
- Prepare and present high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods in accordance with Canyon Ranch recipes, nutrition philosophy, and presentation standards, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and exceptional product quality for every service period.
- Support daily pastry operations by executing opening and closing procedures, maintaining organized workstations, and ensuring all products are prepared, stored, and presented according to established culinary standards.
- Continuously expand your knowledge of Canyon Ranch recipes, baking techniques, food preparation methods, and presentation expectations to support culinary excellence and ongoing professional development.
- Monitor recipe execution and product quality by identifying and reporting discrepancies in ingredients, yields, measurements, or preparation procedures to ensure recipe integrity and consistency.
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness by properly handling, storing, labeling, and preparing food products in compliance with Health Department regulations, ServSafe requirements, and Canyon Ranch standards.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative kitchen environment by supporting teammates, demonstrating flexibility, maintaining attention to detail, and helping deliver exceptional culinary experiences that align with the Canyon Ranch mission and values.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Bring 1-2 years of pastry, baking, dessert preparation, or an associate's degree in baking and pastry.
- Must have open availability, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for entire shift.

PAY RANGE: $21.00 - $21.84 / hour
