The opportunity

Delaware North's Patina Group is hiring a full-time or part-time Pastry Demi Chef de Partie to join our team at Monsieur Dior in Beverly Hills, California. As a Pastry Demi Chef de Partie, you will prepare the bakery products at Monsieur Dior and ensure all items are served promptly to the highest freshness and quality.

Please note this is a tipped position; the hourly minimum pay listed doesn't include any potential tipped earnings.

Pay

$21.00 - $23.00 / hour

What will you do?

• Follow recipe portion sizes and quality standards
• Keep workstations and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked, and utilize kitchen equipment to prepare food items such as knives, slicers, pots, steamers, and ovens
• Ensure proper baking temperatures are maintained, and food is stored correctly
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as instructed and according to proper guidelines

More about you

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Basic math skills with the ability to understand, calculate, and follow recipe measurements
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail
• Ability to work as a team player, following procedures and taking directions
• Capacity to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Ability to remain standing for the entire length of the shift while also walking, bending, reaching, and performing other repetitive motions
