Home Visitor/Peer Recovery Peer Specialist for Parents as Teachers 18 Degrees is where new beginnings come to light for children and families – join us on our journey into a new day! This is a home visiting role with a peer recovery component (peer recovery training will be provided/required). The right candidate uses their own lived experience to better connect and engage with individuals who are or have been affected by substance abuse [directly or indirectly]. Individuals with personal, lived recovery experience are encouraged to apply. The position provides evidence-based programming to families throughout Berkshire County. Relevant experience in the human service field desired, lived experience may substitute. Knowledge of child development and parenting; ability to engage all families; data tracking; and partnership with community resources important.
