    Job Overview A law firm seeks a skilled Patent Agent to join its Intellectual Property & Technology practice in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with at least five years of experience in patent drafting and prosecution.Responsibilities Harvest inventions directly from clients.Advise clients on invention disclosures, patent strategy, and prosecution.Evaluate cutting‑edge technology.Draft and prosecute US patent applications.Guide prosecution of foreign patent applications.Contribute to opinion work and client counseling.Support litigation efforts.Provide technical support across the practice.Requirements Genuine passion for technology and a collaborative spirit.Sharp attention to detail and a strategic mindset.Strong analytical skills and clear communication of complex concepts.Client‑first mentality and team player.Excellent writing skills, both technical and general.Education & Credentials Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.Registered to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office.Skills Versatile across technologies; experience with software patents is a plus.At least five years as a patent agent at a law firm or in‑house.Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) plan.Short‑term and long‑term disability insurance.Life insurance.Tuition reimbursement.Paid time off and holidays.Discretionary bonuses.#J-18808-Ljbffr
