Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Patent Agent to join our team in the San Diego area with pay around 240K. As a Patent Agent, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and prosecution of patents. You will work closely with inventors and attorneys to secure intellectual property rights for our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting prior art searches
- Drafting patent applications
- Corresponding with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)
- Reviewing and analyzing patent office actions
- Assisting with patent portfolio management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field
- Admission to practice before the USPTO
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
