A JD from a top-tier law school, active bar admission, and 1–4 years of patent prosecution experience are required. Candidates must hold USPTO registration and an advanced degree (Ph.D. or M.S.) in relevant scientific fields such as biology, chemistry, bioinformatics, or related disciplines.
Key duties include drafting and prosecuting patents, client collaboration, due diligence, and staying current with IP law and scientific developments.
