Job Details
  • 10 to 15+ years IP experience across prosecution, PTAB, and litigation
  • Registered USPTO Patent Attorney
  • Admitted to federal courts and Federal Circuit
  • Proven track record handling PTAB proceedings and federal litigation
  • Technical background (biochemistry + cross-disciplinary exposure)
  • Experience interfacing with inventors, engineers, and corporate stakeholders
  • Patent analytics, prior art, and validity work, Licensing, M&A, and IP transactions

Patent Prosecution + Counseling:
  • Draft and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications across complex technical domains
  • Lead Office Action strategy and client counseling on patentability, freedom to operate, and portfolio development
  • Manage large-scale patent portfolios and align prosecution strategy with business objectives

PTAB + Post-Grant Work:
  • Handle inter partes review (IPR), post-grant review (PGR), and reexaminations before the PTAB
  • Develop validity and invalidity positions tied to broader litigation or licensing strategy
  • Advise on strategic use of USPTO proceedings in parallel with litigation

IP Litigation + Disputes:
  • Support or lead IP litigation in federal court including pleadings, discovery, expert coordination, and settlement strategy
  • Conduct infringement, validity, and damages analyses
  • Interface with trial teams, clients, and technical experts

Transactions + Advisory:
  • Structure and negotiate IP agreements including licenses, assignments, and technology transfer arrangements
  • Perform due diligence for M&A and IP transactions
  • Advise on commercialization strategies and enforcement frameworks

Client Leadership:
  • Act as a trusted advisor to sophisticated clients in tech, biotech, pharma, and engineering sectors
  • Contribute to business development and client expansion initiatives
