Required Qualifications
J.D. with active U.S. Bar admission (USPTO registration preferred).
Minimum 1 year of independently managing IP litigation matters.
Strong experience in patent litigation/IP enforcement, IP licensing, Freedom-to-Operate (FTO) analyses, non-infringement and invalidity opinions, and licensing agreement negotiation.
Experience developing litigation strategy, managing litigation proceedings, handling depositions, mediations, and settlement recommendations.
Ability to work directly with outside counsel, opposing counsel, business leaders, and executive stakeholders.
Strong business judgment with the ability to translate complex IP and litigation risks into practical commercial recommendations.
Manage patent litigation and IP enforcement matters.
Conduct Freedom-to-Operate (FTO) analyses, non-infringement, and invalidity opinions.
Draft, review, and negotiate IP licensing agreements.
Develop litigation strategies and manage depositions, mediations, and settlements.
Collaborate with outside counsel, business leaders, and executive stakeholders.
Assess IP risks and provide practical legal and commercial recommendations.
Support IP portfolio management and strategic business initiatives.
