Bryant Staffing Solutions is partnering with a highly regarded Southeastern law firm seeking a Patent Transactional Attorney to join its growing Corporate and IP platform. This opportunity is suited for an Associate, Counsel, or Junior Partner-level attorney with strong experience handling complex transactional matters involving intellectual property and financial services clients. We are targeting candidates from Top 50 U.S. law schools and those currently practicing at Am Law 200 firms. Exceptional attorneys from respected regional firms handling sophisticated transactions (e.g., firms comparable to Robinson Bradshaw) will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Structure, negotiate, and close patent acquisitions, licensing agreements, and broader IP-driven commercial transactions.
• Provide IP diligence support in M&A and other strategic corporate deals.
• Advise financial services and corporate clients on intellectual property asset strategy and risk management.
• Partner with corporate, finance, and litigation teams to execute complex transactions.
• Counsel clients on protecting and monetizing innovation-driven assets.

Qualifications

• J.D. from a Top 50 accredited U.S. law school preferred.
• Strong academic performance (top 50% of class preferred).
• 3-8 years of transactional experience with emphasis on IP, financial services, or M&A matters.
• Experience at an Am Law 200 firm strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated background handling patent acquisitions, licensing, or IP-heavy corporate transactions.
• Licensed in North Carolina or eligible for admission.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client advisory skills.
