  • Oversee quality assurance (QA), quality control (QC), proficiency testing, and continuous improvement initiatives across molecular and hematopathology testing
  • Collaborate with laboratory supervisors, operations, and quality teams to ensure efficient, compliant, and scalable testing processes
  • Act as a clinical liaison for internal teams and external clients, supporting case resolution and strengthening physician relationships
  • Contribute to scientific publications, presentations, and internal strategy discussions related to emerging technologies and diagnostics
  • Mentor pathologists, technologists, and laboratory staff, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by senior medical leadership in support of medical, regulatory, or strategic initiatives

  • Active, unrestricted North Carolina medical license or willingness to obtain
  • Additional licensure in CA, FL, and/or NY a plus
  • Possession of or willingness to obtain New York State Certificate of Qualification (COQ) for molecular diagnostics
  • NY State COQ for flow cytometry strongly desired
