SUMMARY OF JOB:Assists in the performance of autopsy and surgical pathology services. Works independently performing professional duties associated with the preparation, performance and completion of autopsies, and gross examination and/or preparation of surgical pathology specimens under the general supervision of a pathologist.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:B.S. or M.S. degree from an accredited Pathologist Assistant Program.
Certification by the American Association of Pathologist Assistants.
