About the Family & Social Services Administration:
The Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning (OMPP) is a division within the Family and Social Services Administration, which receives around 18 percent of the states budget to ensure vital health care coverage to approximately 1 in 4 Hoosiers. Role Overview:
This role, Indianas Home and Community Based Services Waiver & Benefit Mgr. serves as a subject matter expert on HCBS. In this role, you will monitor federal and state regulations for program impacts, provides technical direction to maintain compliance, and ensures no disruption in care for members in long term care and long-term services and supports programs. Your role ensures that programs and benefits are in alignment with agency priorities and objectives. This role also identifies training and education needs of stakeholders, maintains training development and education materials. This role collaborates with Managed Care Entities, providers, and members.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years' direct experience with HCBS waiver programs. This experience must include working directly with providers, members, stakeholders, and advocates. They will also have experience with Medicaid programs or managed Medicaid health plans and extensive knowledge of rules, regulations and procedures related to Medicaid waiver programs, contracts, compliance and enforcement, and reporting requirement. A bachelor's degree in public health, healthcare administration, social work, psychology, or similar field preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, including SharePoint, Word, Teams, Excel; advanced experience with Excel preferred.
Salary:
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $67,314.00 but may be commensurate with education and work experience. Use our Compensation Calculator to view the total compensation package.

This position is exempt from overtime compensation for additional work hours which may be required to complete essential functions or other assigned work. Exempt employees may work more than 75 hours in a pay period without additional compensation and must report a minimum of 75 hours per pay period of work hours and/or paid leave taken to receive their base biweekly salary.
