Lead patient access operations at our new hospital in Rapid City, SD!
Manage the team that ensures seamless patient registration, insurance verification, and financial processes from admission to discharge.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee patient registration, insurance verification and authorizations
  • Train and supervise front desk staff on proper procedures
  • Ensure accurate collection of patient demographics and financial information
  • Manage upfront collections of copayments, deductibles, and self-pay accounts
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
  • Conduct quality assurance audits and performance improvement activities
  • Schedule staff to maintain efficient front desk coverage
  • Collaborate with clinical departments to resolve registration issues
What You'll Need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years insurance verification and benefits experience
  • Knowledge of CMS and Medicaid programs
  • Experience with HIPAA compliance and medical records management
  • Previous hospital or medical office management experience
  • Proficient in medical terminology and healthcare workflows
  • Verifiable leadership experience in a customer-facing role
