• Lakeview Hospital

• New Orleans East Hospital

Opportunities may include full-time, part-time, and PRN positions, with a variety of day, evening, night, and weekend schedules depending on location and department needs.

What Does Patient Access Do?

Our Patient Access team helps make sure patients have a smooth experience from the moment they connect with LCMC Health. Depending on the position, responsibilities may include:

• Patient registration and check-in

• Scheduling appointments

• Verifying insurance and demographic information

• Collecting payments and discussing financial responsibilities

• Obtaining required documentation and authorizations

• Answering patient questions and helping patients navigate their care

• Providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Who We're Looking For

You may be a great fit if you have experience in:

• Patient Access or patient registration

• Medical scheduling

• Insurance verification

• Medical office or front desk operations

• Revenue cycle

• Customer service

• Hospitality, banking, retail, or other customer-facing roles

Healthcare experience is a plus, but don't count yourself out if you're looking to make the move into healthcare!
