Job Summary:
The Patient Access Representative supports behavioral health services by managing patient registration, claims processing, and scheduling activities in a remote call center environment. This role requires strong experience with Epic, healthcare registration workflows, and claims processing, along with the ability to multitask efficiently while delivering accurate and timely service.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform remote patient registration for behavioral health services.
Process healthcare claims accurately and in a timely manner.
Schedule ambulatory referrals to the COCM program.
Support call center operations related to patient access and registration.
Utilize Epic and BILH BS systems for registration and scheduling activities (training provided).
Maintain accuracy while managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures throughout all registration and scheduling activities.
Required Experience:
Prior experience with healthcare claims processing.
Scheduling experience in a healthcare or clinical setting.
Hands-on experience using Epic.
Strong computer skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Must have been separated from BILH for 6+ months (applies to prior permanent, contract, or per diem employment).
