Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Patient Access Representative to join a busy healthcare environment in the Memorial City area. The ideal candidate will have strong patient service skills, previous call center experience, and a background in scheduling and insurance verification.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments accurately and efficiently.
• Handle a high volume of inbound patient calls and provide excellent customer service.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Ensure appointments meet medical necessity and referral requirements.
• Post patient payments accurately.
• Update and maintain patient demographic and insurance information.
• Assist patients with scheduling questions and general appointment inquiries.
• Maintain accurate documentation while following HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements.
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and clinical staff.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of healthcare/patient access experience.
• At least 1 year of call center experience.
• Previous experience with patient scheduling.
• Experience with insurance eligibility verification.
• Experience posting patient payments.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Must be dependable, professional, and detail-oriented.
