Patient Access Representative

• Department: Imaging - St. Teresa
• Schedule: Full Time, Evening Hours, 40hrs weekly, Mon-Thur 12:00pm-8:30pm & Fri 11:00am-7:30pm
• Clinic: Via Christi Hospital St. Teresa - Suite 150
• Location: 14700 W Saint Teresa St, Wichita, KS 67235

How you'll make an impact in this role:

• Schedule patient appointments and procedures accurately with physicians and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient flow and resource utilization.
• Gather and accurately enter patient demographic, insurance, and clinical information into the appropriate database to establish a complete and compliant patient record.
• Coordinate insurance verification and pre-authorization processes to ensure financial clearance and reduce out-of-pocket stress for the patient.
• Educate patients on pre-service requirements, instructions, and financial responsibilities, promoting a clear and comfortable experience.
• May assist patients with transport, movement or placement for imaging services

What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

What additional requirements you'll need:

• Medical Office Experience, Bilingual a plus
• CNA, PCT, or Patient Transporting Experience a plus
• BLS or willing to obtain
