The Essentials

• Schedule: Full-Time 40 hours per week | Monday-Friday
• Location: Fairlawn, OH
• Specialty: Patient Access
• Travel: Occasional travel between Fairlawn Campus locations

What You'll Do

• Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service while managing check-in, check-out, registration, and scheduling activities.
• Verify demographic, insurance, referral, and authorization information to ensure accurate patient records and efficient care coordination.
• Schedule appointments, maintain EMR documentation, prepare charts, and support billing and referral workflows.
• Perform insurance eligibility verification, obtain prior authorizations, and assist patients with benefits education and financial counseling.
• Answer and route phone calls, coordinate communication between patients, providers, and clinical teams, and provide cross-coverage across departments as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Education: High School diploma or GED required. College coursework or degree preferred.
• Experience: At least 1 year of customer service, patient registration, scheduling, medical office, or healthcare access experience strongly preferred.
• Skills: Strong computer proficiency required, including experience with EMR systems and Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA requirements.
