$19.29- $26.90an hour - Full-time - 36 hours, Monday-Thursday 8:30am-4:30pm, Friday 8:30am-3:00pm



Boulder Community Health is seeking a Patient Access Specialist to support the daily operations of Rehabilitation Services. This role welcomes patients, schedules appointments, manages medical records, answers and routes calls, and performs administrative tasks to ensure exceptional customer service and efficient patient flow.

Qualifications

•High School graduate or GED preferred

•Prefer one-year reception experience.

•Prefer Three years experience working in an office setting, preferably medical, with public contact, reception and scheduling duties

•Familiarity with multiple line phone systems and intercom systems



Responsibilities

•Greets patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous and helpful manner.

•Checks in patients; verifies and updates necessary information in the medical record and into computer. Checks out patients.

•Collects payments from patients.

•Assists patients with questions about their accounts.

•Escort patient to exam room or lab when needed.

•Closes Cash Drawer at close of business

•Schedules patient appointments in the Employee Health Record (EHR), following office scheduling policies.

•Maintains lobby in neat and orderly manner.

•Answers phone, screens calls, takes messages and provides information.

•Screen visitors and responds to routine requests for information.
