And above all, it means exceptional care, simply delivered — and we couldn't do it without you.Responsibilities Answer phone calls and process electronic orders for Community Health Network physicians for patients needing Durable Medical Equipment (DME).Verify patient insurance benefits.Request prior authorizations.Review and create patient records in the appropriate EMR system.Qualify equipment based on insurance requirements.Create sales orders and communicate with dispatch regarding delivery.Provide excellent customer service to patients.Participate in an on‑call rotation for patient emergency needs and requests.Possibility to work remotely for qualified team members.Qualifications Complies with applicable state/federal laws and program requirements of accreditation agencies and federal, state and government health plans.Ensures confidentiality of patient records.Meets productivity standards designated by the department.Meets QA standards designated by the department.Two or more recent years of experience in healthcare customer service and/or billing.High School Diploma or GED.Previous experience with Brightree Billing EMR preferred.Previous DME experience preferred.Current knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance.Two or more recent years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite.Testing for specific job functions may be required for consideration of this position.#J-18808-Ljbffr
