What You'll Do:
Respond to and resolve patient billing inquiries via phone, portal, or mail with professionalism and accuracy
Process adjustments, corrections, refunds, and manage outstanding patient balances
Handle accounts receivable, including payment posting, denials, and insurance follow-up
Communicate with insurance carriers to ensure timely and accurate claim reimbursement
Ensure compliance with billing regulations, coding standards, and internal documentation procedures
Manage contact lens orders, including prescription verification, vendor coordination, billing, and inventory tracking
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 3 years of medical billing experience
Knowledge of CPT and ICD9 codes
Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage details, deadlines, and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Prior experience with NextGen is a plus
