    Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Answer incoming phone calls from patients, physician offices, and insurance companies.
    • Make outbound calls to patients and physician offices to obtain information or provide case updates.
    • Review case history and insurance correspondence to provide information to callers.
    • Communicate results of a benefit investigation to patients and physicians.
    • Pre-qualify patients for any available financial assistance.
    • Complete special projects assigned by the management.
    • Meet productivity and quality goals set forth by call center management.
    • Participate in team meetings by sharing observed trends and/or recurring issues identified when working cases and handling calls.
    • Other duties as assigned

    Education/Experience:

    • High School diploma or GED
    • Possess superior customer service skills.
    • Previous call center experience preferred, but not necessary.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
    • Ability to listen and work well with others.
    • Detail oriented.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Able to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
    • Ability to learn quickly and navigate through different computer applications.
    • Proficient in using Microsoft Word and Excel.
