• Actastheprimaryresourceforproblem-solvingregardingQualityIndicatorcodingandIRF-PAI completion.
• WorktoimproveprocessofQIcodingandallotherdatacollectionspecifictoIRF-PAI.
• EnsureIRF-PAIdataisenteredandtransmitted accurately.
• EnsureIRF-PAIdataistransmittedtoCMS/UDSwithintimeframesspecifiedfor admission/discharge.
• Review,interpretandcollectdataoneachpatientinpreparationforcompletionoftheIRF-PAI.
• CollaboratewithteamonidentificationofpotentialcomorbiditiesoraccurateCMG/RIC categories.
• Ensurealldischargedpatientrecordscontaintherequired elements.
• CompletechartaudittoallowfortimelyUDSexportandCMS transmission.

Qualifications

Licenseor Certification:

• Licensedorcertifiedclinicianinhealthcare(RN,LPN,PT,PTA,OT,COTA,SLP, Recreational Therapist, Respiratory Therapist, case manager/social worker)
• QI Credentialed
• ObtainUDSIRFPPSCertificationafter2yearsinthePASCroleandbeforethe3rd-year anniversary.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Abilitytoperform assessments.
• 1yearofhealthcare experience.
• AttendallEHCIRF-PAI trainings.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experienceinrehaborpost-acutecare,proficientteaching,and communication skills
• Effectiveoralandwrittencommunication skills
• Strongorganizationalandcriticalthinking abilities
• Detail-orientedandcapableofmeetingdeadlines independently
• Commitmenttomaintaininghigh-qualitystandardsinpatient assessments.
